Low water pressure

Low pressure can come from several places: a partially closed valve somewhere in the system, scale build-up in older pipework, a failing pressure-reducing valve, or simply a system that was never balanced correctly. We check the straightforward causes first, since replacing pipework is a last resort, not a first guess.

Airlocks

An airlock (water flows from one tap but not another, or a tap splutters and stops) is usually a trapped pocket of air in the pipework rather than a supply problem. Often clearable on site by running taps in the right sequence or bleeding the affected point.

Immersion heaters and cylinders

Immersion heater not heating, tripping the electrics, or heating water that stays lukewarm: we can diagnose and replace the immersion element and thermostat. Hot water cylinder issues (not holding temperature, leaking, or an ageing cylinder near end of life) we assess and advise honestly on repair versus replacement.
